AOL Radio is simple to use, although hard to find on aol.com. All you do is select from a list of genres or cities. The genres will lead you to sub-genres, and cities will lead you to their different stations. The cities offered are only major cities such as Dallas, Los Angeles, NYC, etc.

You can skip the songs but you can't go back or save. You can rate the songs you like. As stated before, you can choose genres and sub-genres within, and major cities and their radio stations.

AOL radio seems to be a feature of AOL itself. There is no advertising on the site or in between songs. To purchase songs or albums aol links you to itunes, napster, or ringtone sites. Major radio stations that are offered on Aol radio more than likely pay to be available. There is no subscription service available.
This site is unique because it it simple to use, free, and there are a lot of different genres avvailable. Aol radio offers playlists featuring songs only from particular artists, '2pac All The Time' and 'Radiohead Only' are two examples. The genres are all familiar, but some of the sub-genres can be quite unique.

The most unique thing about this website is the selection options. Any genre of music one may want to hear is accounted for. The best feature about AOL radio is that it offers links that will lead you to actual radio stations that are broadcast in major cities throughout the country.
