The elements most emphasized in the trailer as well as poster are the genre and the suspense. Most of the trailer is comprised of the multiple chase scenes in which every mode of transportation is utilized: on foot, motor cycle, car, boat, helicopter, plane and even swinging from a rope like Spiderman. Almost every weapon you can think of is included in the trailer: Fists, guns, knives, assault rifles, and dynamite. The movie appears to being sold simply as “Bond, 007”. Audiences are already aware that, Bond, 007 = action, adventure, thriller, suspense, prominence, beautiful women and sex. There are multiple trailers available but they all seem to apply the same approach.
The Quantum of Solace homepage offers many media options for 007 fans. On the homepage, viewers are able to read frequently updated, official news from the set of the film, watch the Quantum of Solace trailer, read the story of the Quantum of Solace, get free downloads such as wallpapers, IM icons, widgets for Vista users, Myspace and Facebook promotional crossovers. and watch a short video about the upcoming Quantum of Solace video game. This homepage also offers a link where 007 fans can purchase the Ultimate Collector’s Set of 21 James Bond adventures on DVD. Viewers are also encouraged to check out the photo and video galleries of Quantum Solace. Lastly, at the top of the web page, all viewers are reminded that the movie opens in US theaters on November 14th, 2008. The website Movieweb.com displays a variety of different information about this upcoming movie.
You can read a synopsis, watch trailers, look at posters, and even post comments about the movie on the site. We also found a few Quantum of Solace merchandise contests. One in which you simply had to enter your information, and then answer a few questions about the movie and why you should win the merchandise. The other contest was a little more creative...You had to dress as a Bond character (from any past or present Bond movie), and then send in a short video of yourself portraying a Bond scene under 5 minutes (can be spoof or actual dramatization of a Bond movie scene) to win the Quantum of Solace Merchandise.
Our group found one website in particular to be very helpful,piratebay.com. Through this website, trailers for Quantum of Solace are available but since the movie has not yet been released there are no shared copies available for users to download. Another website mentioned in our group was mininova.com which also had only trailers available. We concluded that major efforts by the studios were made to prevent leaks of this popular movie.

I actually like the Bond movies and I did not know there was another one coming out. These 007 movies always have so many great action scenes, new cars and gadgets. Judging from the trailer, I think it might be good. They always have exotic locations and places you may not otherwise visit like in the Jason Bourne movies. The last bond movie, Casino Royale, I saw in the theater and i will probably take a trip out to see this one too.
I for one have been waiting for this movie as well as the game. I really like what they are doing with the Bond movies. This one film I am waiting to see this fall.
I really like Daniel Craig as James Bond. I thought he did an excellent job in Casino Royale. After watching the trailer this one looks to be just as action packed.
I'm not going to lie, I was pretty upset to hear that Pierce Brosnan was not going to be the James Bond in this movie, but it's still going to be good since it is a James Bond movie. I like how your post is put together and the videos look real good. You blog makes me want to go watch this movie now!
I loved Casino Royale so I will probably definitely be seeing this. The way they have rebooted the franchise with an excellent Bond like Daniel Craig has been great.

I like this trailer primarily because it doesn't give away exact details of the plot (not that there is a lot of mystery in Bond films). Trailers these days are like watching a mini-version of the movie...which is annoying. I'll probably wait until it is out on DVD before I watch it, so that I can enjoy the full experience (sneaking pizza into a theater sucks).
I thought the last Bond was really good, so I have high expectations for the new one coming out. My dad has always likes the Bond series so I have seen alot of the old ones as well. But in all honesty, the Casino Royale put the bond movies on another level kinda like the new Batman movies compare to the old. Anyway good job guys on your blog. It looks good!
